It would be nice
if students had the luxury of spending time over questions such as the meaning of life. A liberal arts education is supposed to include a broad exposure to ideas and inspire such deep thoughts, but so much is demanded in the modern world that few students really have time for simple contemplation. Maybe that's what retirement is for nowadays.

The meaning of life is natural to enquiring minds. Just getting a life takes all the time we have and we forget all about purpose. Students should enquire on their own because academia will pour more muck into people's heads...like evolution theory!
